- Studlink Anchor Chain
Studlink anchor-chain is used for permanent and emergency anchoring of ships and other
floating installation. The stud secure that every link come into the gypsy, in correct position.
For use on ships the studlink anchor-chain are made in grade 1, 2 and 3. For use on mobile offshore installations and
drillings rigs the chain are made in steel grade: ORQ, R3, RQ3, RQ3S, R3S, R4, R4S, R4ST
(Grade R4 being the most commonly used).
- Studless Anchor Chain
Studless anchor-chain are made to be used in permanent moorings when the chain will not go over a gypsy. The advantages are: Less weight, fit bigger shackles without endlinks and avoid problems with loose studs.
Studless anchor-chain are available in the same steel qualities as studlink anchor-chain.
We supply studless anchor-chain in every size, both for fish-farm mooring and offshore installations.
