LADDERS
We manufacture ladders aimed for merchant fleet as pilot ladders and embarkation ladders. For use in industry we manufacture Jacobs ladder. Pilot ladder consists of short and long wooden steps with side ropes in 20 mm sisal ropes. Pilot ladders is manufacture according to ISO 799:2004 standard and are "SOLAS" - approved. We also keep in stock repair steps to pilot ladders. Embarkation ladders is manufacture according to ISO 5489 standard and are "SOLAS" - approved. Jacobs ladder consists of round wooden steps with 16 mm sisal ropes. All lengths can be produced according to customers request.

TRAWLS
We manufacture all kinds of trawls. Some examples below: Pair trawling Pairtrawling is a fishing method which allow 2 fish boats to pull one common trawl. The advantage with this way of fishing is that the common trawl is larger in circum- ference than fishing with a trawl pulled by 1 fishing boat. This means larger catches and less fuel costs where otterboard not is necessary by holding the trawl open. The trawl keeps open by the distance of the 2 fishing boats apart. By keeping a distance apart between the 2 fishing boats the fish school tends to heards into the trawl opening which makes the fish process easier. The trawling speed is usually higher than used at bottom trawling. The 2 fishing boats usually divides the task of setting and hauling the trawl in this way of fishing. We manufacture pelagic trawls to be used to cath e.g herring, Baltic herring and bleak. Single boat trawling Pelagic trawling with otterboard is a fishing method which allow 1 fish boats to pull one pelagic trawl. This means generally that fuel costs proportional to pelagic pair trawling are larger by the larger drag resistance wich stands for approximately 20% of the total resistance of the fishing equipment. The trawl keeps open by the horizontal distance of the 2 otterboards. We manufacture semi - pelagic trawls for e.g: cod, Baltic herring, bleak. Semi - pelagic cod trawl A semi-pelagic trawl special aimed for catching cod. The trawl can be used both free in water and on bottom. Beach seine We manufacture also little beach seines which being used by rowing the beach seine in an arcshaped form against the beach. Thereafter is the beach seine pulled by hand or winch towards the shore. The fish collected in a small belly section in the beach seine. Demersal trawls Demersal trawls is used for catching fish on or just above the seabed. Demersal trawling runs usually by 1 fishing boat. Trawling speed fluctuates depending on which target spieces wished. Trawling speed fluctuates from app. 1,8 knots (shrimp) to 4 knots (cod). To be able to keep the fishing equipment apart otterboard is used for this purposes. The fishing equipment consists of trawl wire, otterboard, sweeps, bridles and trawl. The trawl wire connects the fishing boat to the otterboard on seabed. The sweeps connects otteboard to the bridles. The function of the sweeps is to heard the fish into the path of the trawl. The bridles connects the sweeps with the trawl. The bridles makes it possible for the trawl to be open vertically.
