CAPSTANS

We supply hydraulic capstans in the range 1.0-10 tons.

We have over 30 years of experience in the delivery of capstanar with rope cams in aluminum.
For use against wire, we supply with knobs in steel.

The capstans can be delivered with a plinth (pedestal) for deck mounting, or with a simple flange or bracket for bulkhead or row mounting.

Usually, the control valve is loosely supplied for the best possible placement on board.
Arrangements for foot pedals can also be delivered.

CRANES

Cranes and booms

Our first pure articulated crane was developed in the 1980s; for security debt with design review at SINTEF.

The crane was developed to have an easy alternative for shelter deck or wheelhouse installation on own new buildings, so seawater-resistant aluminum was a natural material choice.In addition, the crane received a very special swing construction; almost indestructible and very strong.
Some of these cranes are still, after between 25-30 years in daily use.

An enlarged, 10.5 tm, version of these first cranes was later developed and delivered to the new Norwegian demining vessels in the first half of the 1990s. These cranes are now being renovated at MBH for new decades of service.

A crane from MBH is a high-quality special product developed to satisfy completely specific needs for the individual customer. Some have, in retrospect, wart standard product. Of the prepared repertoire, the following can be mentioned:

* Special
crane for the rescue company - low weight, extremely low construction height * Sherrypicker cranes for PGS - crane with self-correcting work platform and adapted rear mounting.
* Div loading cranes
* Crane for transportable LARS with container
dimensions - integrated, compact, with telescope and HIV compensation * Div offshore cranes 18-75 tm - special design, among other things to be able to work very close to the crane foot.
* Offshore crane 75 tm - special design, laterally foldable for installation by helicopter deck.

In addition, a number of other cranes and boom solutions.
All are characterized by the fact that we can meet special customer needs in a completely different way than what can normally be achieved with mass-produced cranes .

DAVITS

Davits can be used for many purposes.
Traditionally, we have designed and delivered davits for snurping and trawling and for launching motorboats.

Our Davit production now goes almost without exception to MOB boats or light boats.

Davitar for light boat is in practice a MOB boat davit without all the expensive extra equipment that was then required.

Our G-davit with 2.5 t SWL is especially attractive as a light boat davit.

Side propellers
We supply side propellers in the range 40 - 330 HP.
We have been supplying hydraulic side propellers since 1990.

Our side propellers are characterized by being

 * Compact
 * Easy to install
 * With steel or aluminum tunnel

We also have a variant with
 * counter-rotating propellers that provide extra high towing power,

and we can deliver in special arrangements such as
 * hinged; eg rear-view mirror on high-speed boat
 * in swivel pod with hydraulic swing

WINCHES

Winches

Our equipment production will start in due course with winches as the most important product.
The first anchor winch in seawater-resistant aluminum was DnV-approved and delivered in 1985.

We design and produce many types of winches for different purposes.
Most of them are based on high-pressure hydraulics and seawater-resistant aluminum
