UV DISINFECTION

UV disinfection of water
UV disinfection of water is one of the simplest and safest methods for rendering bacteria and parasites in water harmless. Filtra has approvals from the Norwegian Institute of Public Health and the Veterinary Institute for our UV facilities from SITA. Safe water quality is a food requirement. We have a large selection of type-approved UV systems for drinking water and aquaculture. 

UV systems are available in all sizes
UV systems can be supplied in all sizes. SITA's UVs are recognized for their functional design and high quality. We  adapt for all needs. A number of additional functions can be built in. Power regulation/lamp regulation is used to adapt the lamp strength so that the dose is safe based on a calculation between flow and water transmission.   

Capacity is determined by water flow and transmission, i.e. the water's ability to be irradiated. Size of the system, lamp strength and flow are adapted to the area of use.
