MANCRAFT AS supplies MAN engines with an after-treatment system for the exhaust gases based on selective catalytic reduction (SCR), for NOx reduction.

MAN has developed a very efficient catalyst system, which is the market leader for marine applications when it comes to both weight and size. The MAN motor is programmed and adapted for synchronization with the SCR system. The optimal amount of urea is injected at all times, based on a number of engine operating parameters.

With the SCR technology from MAN, large NOx reductions can be achieved, up to 80% reduction compared to a conventional diesel engine (IMO Tier II).

Propulsion systems supplied by MANCRAFT that combine MAN engines and the MAN SCR aftertreatment system meet the new emission requirements that apply from 01.01.2021 (IMO TIER III - NOx).

MANCRAFT has good experience in helping customers apply for and be granted financial support in connection with conversion to environmentally friendly propulsion solutions, including MAN SCR.

DIESEL ENGINES, SPARE PARTS

MANCRAFT AS has a large inventory in Bergen for many different MAN engines. The good location near the airport leads to the possibility of fast shipments during the day.

With MAN original parts, you work with superior quality. Spare parts are manufactured in accordance with MAN guidelines, and are carefully inspected to ensure that they comply with strict quality requirements. MAN also guarantees maximum reliability and economy. Furthermore, parts come with a 12-month warranty, which applies worldwide. It's quality you can trust.

MAN has a spare parts warehouse of about 8,000 different types of original parts in stock also for older engines. If your engine is damaged, you can quickly get new parts in.

MANCRAFT has a large Kohler parts warehouse in its premises at Espehaugen, near the airport in Bergen. Good accessibility and short distances to the airport ensure fast shipments straight to you as a customer!

GENERATORS

For over 20 years, MANCRAFT AS has worked very closely with our supplier MAN of first-class diesel engines. From January 2017, MANCRAFT also became an importer of first-class Kohler generator sets to the Norwegian market!

Kohler produces marine generator sets from 5kW and upwards, with options for parallel driving without additional equipment. The generator sets are also almost silent compared to other manufacturers - only 65 dBa!

Options such as remote control panel, exhaust bow, anti-siphon for exhaust are available for most models.

Hybrid and electric propulsion
MANCRAFT delivers complete propulsion systems for high-speed vessels in the professional market. MANCRAFT's core competence is a comprehensive understanding of how the propulsion system of commercial vessels must be designed, controlled, monitored and maintained to avoid downtime.

MANCRAFT has developed and patented a highly efficient in-line parallel hybrid driveline. In collaboration with subcontractors , we deliver  complete hybrid solutions , including Power Management system (PMS) and maneuvering system, for your vessel (turn-key projects). Together with MAN's SCR system, the vessel will satisfy the upcoming IMO Tier III emission requirements for NOx.
