Libra Spraytight GRP Doors (ISD): Libra Spraytight Doors (ISD) are made from Glassfiber Reinforced Polyester (GRP) composite. The weight of the GRP Doors is only 1/3 of steel doors and the sandwich construction gives them excellent thermal insulation. Spraytight Doors are normally used as external bulkhead doors above the 2nd deck. •Steel or Aluminium coamings •Single dogs or Quick Acting •Delivered with either 30mm or 100mm corner radius Libra Spraytight Steel Doors and Hatches (SR): Libra Spraytight Doors (SR) are made from Steel and can be delivered with either 30mm or 100mm corner radius. Spraytight Doors are normally used as external bulkhead doors above the 2nd deck. Libra Spraytight Aluminium Doors and Hatches (SR) Libra Spraytight Doors (SR) are made from Aluminium and can be delivered with either 30mm or 100mm corner radius. Spraytight Doors are normally used as external bulkhead doors above the 2nd deck.

Libra Watertight Steel Doors and Hatches: Libra Watertight Steel Doors have DNV type approval certificate and comply with International Load Line Convention 1966 DNV-OS-C301, the Norwegian Veritas' rules for Classification of Mobile Offshore Units. Libra Watertight Steel Doors may be used on passenger vessels (SOLAS Chapter II-1 Part B Regulation 8) above bulkhead deck and above the equilibrium or intermediate water plane according to damage stability calculations. Libra Watertight Steel Doors may also be used in connection with SOLAS Chapter II-1 Part B Regulation 20-2.2, and the Stockholm Agreement. Libra Watertight Steel Doors may also be used below bulkhead deck in positions where a hinged door is acceptable, and where the actual water pressure is 50kN/m2 or less. Libra Watertight Aluminium Doors and Hatches: Libra produces Watertight Aluminium Doors on request. These doors will be made in accordance with the requirements set by Classification Societies. Libra A-60 Fire-rated Watertight Steel Doors and Hatches: Fire-rated A-60 Doors can be delivered with optional Quick Acting or Wheel Operating Closing System. Libra Watertight A-60 Steel Doors have DNV-MED type approval certificate and comply with the requirements in the following Regulations/Standards: Annex A.1, Item No. A.1/3.16 and Annex B, Module B in the Directive SOLAS 74 as amended, Regulation II-2/9.4.1.1.2, II-2/9.4.1.2.1 and II-2/9.4.2 and IMO FTP Code. Libra Watertight A-60 Steel Doors are approved for use as an integrated part on fire-retarding divisions of class A-60. The fire insulation and surface materials which are used have to be approved according to the Marine Equipment Directive and bear the Mark of Conformity. Libra Watertight A-60 Steel Doors may be used on passenger vessels (SOLAS Chapter II-1 Part B Regulation 8) above bulkhead deck and above the equilibrium or intermediate waterline according to damage stability calculations. The Libra Watertight A-60 Steel Doors may also be used on cargo vessels (SOLAS Chapter II-1 Part B-1 Regulation 25.9) above equilibrium or intermediate waterline according to damage stability calculations, and these doors can also be used in connection with SOLAS II-1/20-2.2 and the Stockholm Agreement. Libra Watertight A-60 Steel Doors may be used below bulkhead deck in positions where a hinged door is acceptable and where the actual water pressure is not greater than the design pressure given by DNV.

Libra Weathertight GRP Doors (WTD): Libra Weathertight Composite Doors and Hatches are built in compliance with the International Load Line Conventions and are Type Approved by most Classification Societies. LIGHT WEIGHT – EXCELLENT THERMAL INSULATION – NO CORROSION. Libra Weathertight Steel Doors and Hatches (WR): Libra Weathertight Doors (WR) are made from Steel and can be delivered with either 30mm or 100mm corner radius. Weathertight Doors are normally used as external bulkhead doors on weather deck (positions 1 and 2), where sill height of 380 / 600mm is required. Both standard and custom sizes are available. Libra Weathertight Aluminium Doors and Hatches (WR): Libra Weathertight Doors (WR) are made from Aluminium and can be delivered with either 30mm or 100mm corner radius. Weathertight Doors are normally used as external bulkhead doors on weather deck (position 1 and 2), where sill height of 380 / 600 mm is required. Libra A-60 Fire-rated Weathertight Steel Doors and Hatches: Fire-rated A-60 Doors can be delivered with optional Quick Acting or Wheel Operating Closing System.
