Application To prevent oil spills, it is essential that the hoses used to unload oil from a platform to a cargo ship are not damaged. Scanmatic delivers systems that the platform workers themselves can use to carry out inspections of the hose, inside and out, to detect cracks and deformations.

Technology The systems are adapted to the relevant installation and the projects are typically carried out in close collaboration with the supplier of the unloading system itself. Scanmatic's delivery typically consists of an ATEX-approved underwater camera for internal inspection in the hose, 2 - 400 m subsea cable, ATEX-approved winch, junction boxes, cabling, connectors, control cabinet and workstation with joystick.
